Jardim Do Vau

Very nice hotel. There were 5 of us and we had a 2 bed, 2 bath room. Room had a shower and a bath so that was nice to have to choice. Room also had microwave, fridge/freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Hotel facilities include: Indoor and outdoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room, library, restaurant, snooker room, pool table (in the bar) table tennis, small park for children, mini mart, direct access to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. And cleaning staff were great. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely return. Diolch yn fawr pawb! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Stayed for 21 nights. From check-in to check out everything was wonderful. Staff very polite and helpful. Two bedroom apartment well equipped, comfortable with a great view. Location superb with stunning views on the walk through Praia da Rocha towards Portimao. Slightly longer walk to Alvor be well worth it. Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walk. Outdoor pool closed as we visited December/November. Indoor pool really warm, very clean and just great. Apartment cleaned almost daily, plentiful clean towels and bed linen. Lady that looked after our room B406 was absolutely amazing, thank you. So polite and friendly. The beach is literally opposite the hotel, and has to be seen to be believed. Even the beach gets cleaned regularly. First time in Portugal, won't be the last. Very clean and tidy, felt very safe. Great hotel, great staff, super apartment, great beach, great location. What's not to love.

Perfect location, 2 mins walk to the beach and wonderful service. We booked a sea view room which was wonderful. Rooms were cleaned every day. We read most of the reviews before booking and can affirm the 5star service. The staff went far and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Different varieties of food in the evenings with lots of fish and chicken options. Lovely! Pedro is a wonderful asset to this hotel. Top gentlemen! Very caring, knowledgeable, catered to our needs and funny! Hemel, the new bar staff but also very lovely, catered to my daughter's food allergies, explaining in English the food contents. Ella at reception was great too, helped us with booking our tours. We're already planning to come back soon. Thanks to all the staff at Jardim Do Vau. Customer service at its best!

We are just back after spending Christmas at Jardim do Vau. We had a fantastic time as always. Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, fabulous staff and location could not be better. Two minutes and you are on the most beautiful beach in Portugal, 20 minute walk to Praia do Rocha along by the beach or by the cuff walk, 40 minute walk in the other direction to beautiful Alvor. Uber taxis are super reasonable. Indoor pool facilities and staff are fab, jacuzzi, steam room, mini gym etc. Little mini market shop on site great to buy your basics and good value. We had the most relaxing break over Christmas, long walks, swimming, bit of retail therapy as well, just great to get away from the madness at home, I would really recommend it, weather was approx 16 to 18 degrees, very pleasant and did get a bit cooler in the evening but still lovely compared to weather at home. We are returning towards to Jardim do Vau again in May and cant wait. By the way we got upgraded to a 2 bed apt on arrival, a lovely surprise and we were delighted, many thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.
